Walmart and Sam’s Club to Stop Selling Flavored Nicotine to Minors

Starting July 1, all Walmart and Sam’s Club locations will increase the minimum age for tobacco purchases to 21. The retailers will also stop selling fruit-flavored vaping systems popular with teenagers.

“Even a single sale of a tobacco product to a minor is one too many, and we take seriously our responsibilities in this regard,” John Scudder, of Walmart, said in a letter to the FDA.
