Experts are increasing their warnings against smoking and vaping during the coronavirus pandemic.

Because coronavirus attacks the lungs, research finds that smoking and vaping increases an individual’s risk for COVID-19. 

Smoking and vaping are often communal activities, and require a lot of hand-to-face contact. Therefore, both can increase the risks of getting or spreading COVID-19.
