Report: Almost Half of Juul’s Followers on Twitter Last Year Were Teens

According to a new report, teens may have made up nearly half of e-cigarette maker JUUL’s social following on Twitter in 2018, highlighting the company’s history of appealing to young people with its marketing.

JUUL has been pressured by the Food and Drug Administration and public health officials to curb the use of its products among teens, including cutbacks to its social media presence.
