Colorado Sues E-Cigarette Maker Juul For Deceptive Marketing to Teens

The Colorado Attorney General announced that the state is suing Juul for deceptive marketing tactics toward young people.

The state believes that Juul’s advertising has contributed to Colorado’s youth vaping rates, which are among the highest in the nation.

According to the lawsuit, the e-cigarette maker downplayed the health risks of its products and used its flavored vape juices to hook young people, ultimately causing many to get addicted to nicotine. Colorado is now among many states that have filed similar lawsuits against Juul.
