Vaping Increases Youth Risk of COVID-19, Study Finds

Teens who vape are at a significantly higher risk of being diagnosed with COVID-19, according to a study published in the Journal of Adolescent Health. The study based on surveys of more than 4,000 young people found that those who used e-cigarettes even once were five times more likely to be diagnosed with the novel coronavirus, compared to their peers who do not vape. 

Those who had vaped within the past month of the survey were almost seven times more likely to contract the virus and experience its symptoms.
