In August 2018 the Timnath Town Council voted to update their public smoke-free ordinance. You can read the updated ordinance here. The updated policy prohibits smoking and vaping in all businesses including those that are exempt under state law and on outdoor restaurant and bar patios and service areas, at public events, on playing fields and recreational areas and within 25 feet of any building entrance.
