Young people may know the dangers and addictive nature of vaping, but a study finds that the social aspects of vaping still drive young people to use Juul and other e-cigarettes. Even while more young people are staying home, the pressure to vape remains in social media and virtual interactions.
A study found that nearly two-thirds of youth and young adults say that they vape for social reasons.
The findings come from a text-message-based survey of teens and young adults between the ages of 14 and 24 conducted by the University of Michigan.
