FDA Passes Policy Banning Flavors of Some Tobacco Products

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration on Jan. 2 issued a policy banning fruit, mint and other unauthorized flavored e-cigarette products, as a move to further protect kids.

The FDA stated: “Under this policy, companies that do not cease manufacture, distribution and sale of unauthorized flavored cartridge-based e-cigarettes (other than tobacco or menthol) within 30 days risk FDA enforcement actions.”
