The next Health Equity & Social Justice Learning Community Call will be on January 13. It will feature guests from the CDC national network partners. The Center for Disease Control’s National Network Approach to Preventing and Controlling Tobacco-Related Cancers supports a consortium of national networks (referred to as “siblings) to address tobacco and cancer-related health disparities. Populations of focus include:

  • Asian American/Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander populations
  • Populations with disabilities
  • Geographically defined populations
  • Mental or substance use disorders population
  • Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, intersex, and asexual (LGBTQI+)
  • Hispanic/Latino populations
  • Populations with low socio-economic characteristics
  • African American population
  • American Indian and Alaska Native populations
