The University of Colorado Cancer Center’s Be Strong for Tomorrow program is offering access to a tobacco and vaping cessation program that is FREE to Coloradans age 13+.
We are looking for opportunities to promote the use of this app and would love to partner with you in your tobacco cessation efforts.
Be Strong for Tomorrow offers education about the harmful effects of tobacco products and access to a tobacco and vaping cessation program called 2Morrow Health, which is available via a smartphone app. The program teaches tobacco and e-cigarette users how to self-administer techniques to manage unhelpful thoughts, urges, and cravings caused by nicotine addiction. It is evidenced-based – persons who complete the program are 6 times more likely to quit than if they tried to quit on their own. For users of the app who are interested in obtaining Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) medications, the app can connect them to the Quitline.
The cessation program offers modules for adults who smoke, pregnant women, and young people who vape. It also contains custom content for American Indian/Native American and LGBTQ communities and menthol use. The app is easy to access. It can be downloaded to a smartphone or mobile device at 2morrowhealth.net/UCCC or using the QR code in this post.
After downloading the app, users are prompted to complete the sign-up form and create a login and password to start using the app. No personal information is collected and can be accessed in the privacy of one’s home.
Watch a short video on the app via YouTube.
If you are interested in helping promote the app, you may use your time to do so; however, A35 funds may not be used to promote the app through paid media or other methods.
Please share this information about the app with your partners, communities, and patients!
