Are people who smoke and vape at a higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19?

Dr. David Beuther, chief medical information officer at National Jewish Health in Denver, says that people who smoke or vape should be concerned that they have weaker lungs than the average person, and therefore may be more prone to complications from a respiratory disease like COVID-19.
