CO Quit Line
Help is one call away. The Colorado QuitLine provides support at step of the quitting process.

What is the Colorado QuitLine?

The Colorado QuitLine is a FREE services for Coloradans aged 15 or older available online, by phone or both.

The QuitLine offers:
  • Support from a Quit Coach in English of five other languages
  • Online support ANYTIME
  • Nicotine patches, gum or lozenges (if you qualify)
  • Tips to keep you tobacco-free

The QuitLine's expert coaches help you make a plan to quit, and they are there to help you along the way. Many of these coaches quit themselves and know firsthand how hard it is to fight an addiction. Coaches talk you through those stressful times when you're fighting a craving or feeling stressed.

How does this program work?

The day you enroll... Contact the QuitLine by phone or online and sign-up for free. You'll be connected to an expert Quit Coach who will ask about your tobacco use, health and reasons for quitting. This information is confidential and helps your coach understand how they can best help you.

Within 5 days of enrolling... You receive a workbook with tips, ideas and tools to help you quit successfully.

If you're 18 or older, your Quit Coach can also provide nicotine patches, gum or lozenges -- free of charge -- to help you quit. Your coach will ask you a few health questions and depending on your answers, written consent from a doctor may be required.
Next 6 to 8 weeks... You and your coach can have more coaching sessions to talk about your progress, the challenges you face and tips to help you continue to live tobacco free.
At anytime... Call the QuitLine between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. seven days a week or visit COQuitLine.org to get support whenever you need it.
Program Completion When you quit, or after five coaching calls, you receive a certificate of completion. People who use the QuitLine are seven times more likely to quit successfully than those who try to quit on their own.
