Help a Young Person

Are you an adult who wants to help a young person quit tobacco or vape use? Free support is available for Colorado youth 12 years and older.

My Life, My Quit is a free tobacco treatment program created specifically with young people in mind.

My Life My Quit social graphic

My Life, My Quit offers 24/7 coaching support by text, web, and phone, to reach youth where they are and provide an easy-to-use, non-judgmental experience. You can’t force a young person to quit, but you can be there to support them.

Youth ages 12-17 can text “Start my quit” to 36072 to connect with a coach or receive quit tips.

Smoke-Free Teen, a website from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, also provides free quit support for youth, including texting services, a mobile app, trained coaches, and healthy tips to handle stress and social pressure.
